First 325 - Beneteau / STW003565
The First 325 produced by the French shipyard Bénéteau was born in 1984 from the hull of the First 32 designed by the designer Jean Berret, a boat that had already shown good competition aptitudes. Compared to its predecessor, it is longer, wider, therefore with greater habitability, and with a mast 40 centimeters higher, armed at the head, whose generous sail surface gives a excellent speed in light winds and enhances its upwind skills in the presence of stiff breezes. The lines are fine, with thrusts forward and stern, reduced wet surface and a spacious deck with low deckhouse. The First 325 has a tiller rudder and was produced with different draft: 1.45 or 1.85 meters. The interiors have a classic layout, with a saloon with faced sofas, an L-shaped galley to port, a chart table to starboard, two double cabins and a bathroom.
